Sock Knitting

OK Folks,

I had over a month to finish a pair of socks for my stepson, and I almost managed to do it. I´ll have to mail them, and hopefully they`ll fit. I`ve decided that I am only going to knit for me or another small footed person!

I, of course, can`t pass up an opportunity to buy new yarn, regardless if it`s for a new project! I know that I`m joined by millions of knitters in this respect. The yarn in question? A merino wool, 3-50 gram balls, for 2$ at a thrift store. Where can you get good merino for that small price? Only a thrift store. Now, I`m thinking of a good project, and I`ve almost decided to do fingerless gloves. I`ve wanted to make some for a while, and now is as good as any, but I have to finish those ?(&%ç socks first!

In the meanwhile, I`m also quilting TWO tops, and have the first one ready for borders, the second is still in the piecing phase. During this period of time, I made 2 tee shirts, and refurbished 2 old tees.

A normal 3 weeks in the life of a knotty crafter!

I'm in the process of making those socks (2 at the same time) and it is working out great. You really need to try this.

If I can do it, you can too.
