OK Folks,
I had over a month to finish a pair of socks for my stepson, and I almost managed to do it. I´ll have to mail them, and hopefully they`ll fit. I`ve decided that I am only going to knit for me or another small footed person!
I, of course, can`t pass up an opportunity to buy new yarn, regardless if it`s for a new project! I know that I`m joined by millions of knitters in this respect. The yarn in question? A merino wool, 3-50 gram balls, for 2$ at a thrift store. Where can you get good merino for that small price? Only a thrift store. Now, I`m thinking of a good project, and I`ve almost decided to do fingerless gloves. I`ve wanted to make some for a while, and now is as good as any, but I have to finish those ?(&%รง socks first!
In the meanwhile, I`m also quilting TWO tops, and have the first one ready for borders, the second is still in the piecing phase. During this period of time, I made 2 tee shirts, and refurbished 2 old tees.
A normal 3 weeks in the life of a knotty crafter!

New Blog!
Ok, I've decided to finally jump into the information superhighway and create a blogjam! Ha!
I have all sorts of things to blog about, but have up till now avoided blogging. The time is ripe, or as Napoleon said, "Why, then the world's mine oyster, Which I with sword will open it". Of course, he didn't know the adage: "The pen is mightier than the sword". Now, we have the internet, which seems to be mightier than the pen, as the internet is (almost) everywhere.
Now that I'm here in the posting page, I find that all the ideas I had for your entertainment and enlightenment have escaped the forefront of my alleged brain. Does this happen often, I wonder? And, am I the only one this has happened to? Am I dangling prepositions?
Ok, I've just thought of something. A personal peeve of mine is these two words together in a sentence, "it's not". When spoken, it sounds like "it's snot". I personally like and approve of "it isn't". This avoids the ugly word snot.
Can you imagine whatever else awaits to be brought into the light of day by me? I think I've been quite honest for my first post, hopefully someone will actually read it!
Until next time, your Knottycrafter, Vamori
